My book details.

So I am writing my book on what I believe will cover all health/food issues for dog owners out there. I have just finished writing the chapters for lots of major issues including cancer and diabetes in dog`s. What I think makes this book different though from so many out there is that it gives you information on how to still make sure your dog is getting all of the nutrients he/she needs. It shows you how to make home made food directly associated with each illness or disease.
So many times we go to vets and they give us huge amounts of information and a life time of prescription drugs but very little else. We sometimes get pressured to use the vastly expensive dog foods they currently have on promotion (they all have them). I want to remove all that, strip it down to basics and make it all affordable.

Dinner of the week recipe

Each week I will be giving you a 100% The Doggy-Deli dinner recipe and this week it is.......Bobby`s Pasta Bowl.

This pasta has been specifically created and tested to suit a Dog`s diet. If your dog has an issue with egg then you can use other binding ingredients like soya milk as an alternative.

Ingredients
9oz Minced meat(preferably Turkey). Please choose minced meat you would eat yourself-lean.
1oz Organic Oats
1 egg or binding substitute
1 Courgette
1/2 bunch of Oregano
Oil for frying preferably Olive Oil
5oz cooked spaghetti (whole grain/wheat)
3 fl oz Organic tomato juice.

Method
Mix the minced Turkey with the porridge oats and binding ingredient. Finely grate the courgette and then add to the mix. Strip the leaves of the oregano off the stalks and knead them into the meat mixture. Roll the mixture into mouth sized meat balls and fry slowly until cooked all the way through.
Cut the spaghetti into small pieces and mix with the tomato juice. Then add the meat balls.

"Everything Dog Treats" are NOT Everything

A week ago I ordered some sugar free Dog Icing from Everything Dog Treats and followed the instructions on their web site including shipping the items to me here in the UK.

5 days later I received notification from Pay Pal informing me that the amount I had paid them had been credited back to me?? I was intrigued to say the least. It transpires that the Company do not deliver to the UK?? which surprised me.

If I was a customer who makes from time to time "Dog Treats" I would not have been to upset but I am not. I am the owner of a company which takes orders and payments seriously including shipping details and timings. I at that time depended on that order arriving in time to fulfil contracts I had agreed to and having to let a customer know I was going to be late with a large order unimpressed me to say the least!!

We understand that when you celebrate lifes events your Dog is normally part of that celebration but unfortunately cannot always enjoy the food festivities as well. Guess what NOW THEY CAN!! Please do not think however that if we bake cakes then some of our specialist ideals and promises will not be kept.
